Use of cookies
Romslo Entertainment AS uses cookies to understand how the website is used and thus give our visitors as good a user experience as possible. By using our website, you accept that such cookies are used.

What are cookies
Cookies are something most websites use today. A cookie is a small piece of code/text file that is placed in your browser when you visit our pages. It allows us to see which pages are visited, which buttons are clicked and how you navigate the site. We also collect information about, for example, which browser you use, navigation and time of visit. We do this in order to adapt the content of the website to you as a user as well as possible. Most browsers (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.) are set to accept cookies automatically, but you can choose to change the settings so that cookies are not accepted. Please note that this may mean that many websites will no longer function properly.

What does Romslo Entertainment AS use cookies for:

Google Tag Manager
Google Tag Manager manages tracking tags and refers to tracking setups and tracking to third-party solutions such as Universal Analytics (Google Analytics) and is used for website optimization and marketing services. All tracking tags are run and managed via Google Tag Manager.

Google Analytics
This analytics tool is used to study traffic, usage patterns and trends on our websites. The data collected is used to optimize the user experience and customize the content of the website. In accordance with Google’s guidelines for the use of Google Analytics, no personal information is collected about you as a user. The data collected is stored on Google’s servers. We store data such as movements on the website and certain actions (e.g. if you use a form). All information is subject to Google’s privacy policy.

Meta Pixel
Meta pixel is used to control and measure the effect of advertising in social media. By tracking the actions the user performs on the website, we are able to improve ad campaigns, create smart audiences and drive remarketing. (Meta pixel is used for Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, Instant Articles and Audience Network, and the use of Meta pixel therefore also covers these channels).

These media’s analytics tools give us access to statistics that tell us, among other things, which pages have been visited as a result of an advertising campaign and what actions have been taken (booking/contact form).

Embedded videos from YouTube
The website may contain embedded videos from our YouTube channel. When you play such a video, Google (YouTube) may collect information about you, such as your IP address and information about the device you are using. YouTube may also store cookies or use similar technologies. We recommend that you read Google’s privacy policy for more information about how they process data.

Hotjar
Maps the interaction the user has with the website. To help us understand how visitors interact with the website, Hotjar records visitor sessions. The Hotjar script is a websocket connection that sends the following information to Hotjar’s servers:

– HTML changes that occur during the user’s session on the website
– Mouse movements
– Mouse clicks
– Scrolling movements
– Keystrokes for whitelisted actions
– Statistics on whether the browser display size changes

Each event tracked is stored in Hotjar’s cloud database using a timestamp that is later used to play back the events in sequential order. The Hotjar script tracks visitors as they visit different pages using a first-party cookie, allowing the entire session to be played back in a single recording. No sensitive information or user information is retrieved or stored.
