Earlier this spring, we had the pleasure of providing live music for a private dinner event at one of Oslo’s most iconic waterfront spots – Olivia at Aker Brygge.
Olivia is a favourite for many in Oslo, not just for its cozy Italian atmosphere and unbeatable location by the harbour, but also for its varied Mediterranean-inspired menu. From wood-fired pizzas and handmade pasta to fresh seafood, meats, and colourful seasonal dishes, the food experience goes far beyond the usual Italian classics. For this event, the guests enjoyed a rich and diverse selection that matched the festive tone of the evening.
The restaurant also features elegant private rooms that are perfect for all kinds of gatherings – whether it’s a corporate dinner, a private party, or a celebration. On this occasion, the room was reserved for a group of around 150 Indian entrepreneurs, all taking part in a special journey through Norway.
The entire experience was organized by Motwane Entertainment & Weddings (MEW), a company renowned for crafting bespoke, high-end celebrations. Led by founder Aditya Motwane, MEW is known for its meticulous attention to detail and its ability to transform events into unforgettable experiences. For that occasion, we at Romslo Entertainment contributed with the live music that made the dinner come alive.
Two musical concepts, one vibrant night
The evening kicked off with Latin Touch, a trio known for their catchy Latin rhythms that energize the room, get people moving, and create a vibrant, festive atmosphere. Their music brought a real spark to the dinner, perfectly setting the tone for what was to come.
Later, we introduced a different style with a mobile trio of vocals, guitar, and percussion. This group moved between tables while performing, interacting with guests and gradually building the energy in the room. As the evening progressed, the atmosphere became more vibrant, with many guests getting up to dance and enjoy the music.
It was a fantastic evening that showed once again how live music can transform a dinner into something unforgettable. We’re always proud to help create moments like this – where food, atmosphere, and music all come together in perfect harmony.
